Towards a Waste Free Greenwich in 2022

  • Floren Family Environmental Center at Innis Arden Cottage Greenwich Point Old Greenwich (map)

A new year, a fresh start and the perfect time to go waste free! Join Julie DesChamps, founder of Waste Free Greenwich, for the Fred Elser First Sunday Science series sponsored by the Bruce Museum Seaside Center to discover what happens to our trash and recycling and the impacts of our waste system. Explore how this grassroots organization is addressing Connecticut's waste crisis with local initiatives from food scrap and textile diversion to zero waste schools and learn about practices to reduce waste at home and in our community in 2023.

This program is free of charge, but reservations are required due to limited space. Held at the Floren Family Environmental Center at Innis Arden Cottage, Greenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich, CT.
