Join Perrot Library in support of  Waste Free Greenwich’s Save the Food Challenge with a cooking demo and discussion with  Lindsay-Jean Hard, IACP award-nominated author of Cooking with Scraps: Turn Your Peels, Cores, Rinds, and Stems into Delicious Meals. Lindsay-Jean will teach us how to transform often discarded food scraps into delicious and surprising culinary creations. Discover waste-reducing tips for storing and preparing meals. You can cook along with Lindsay-Jean as she creates a mouthwatering Carrot Top Pesto.
