Be the solution to plastic pollution, Greenwich! On Saturday, March 24th, grab a bucket, gloves and mask and head to Greenwich Point Park for the 2nd Annual Live Like Luke Cleanup.
Marine debris, particularly plastics, is not only an aesthetic issue affecting the beauty of Greenwich shorelines; it threatens our economy, our wildlife and our food supply. Cleanups - the last line of defense - require a community effort, and Greenwich Green & Clean, Skip the Straw Greenwich and their partner organizations invite Greenwich residents to be the solution to plastic pollution.
Please observe safety guidelines - masks, social distancing and small groups required. Register and select a time slot: https://tinyurl.com/BeachCleanupLiveLikeLuke2021. Walk-ins welcome but must register onsite.
Or participate virtually by tagging a photo of your own cleanup @greenwichgreenandclean or @skipthestrawgreenwich
