Activities to inspire your waste free lifestyle abound at the fair! Vendors will offer low waste products from reusable wares and vintage clothing to kitchen tools and beauty products, while local community partners will share practical tips and information through hands-on activities and exhibits. Highlights include:
Eco-friendly vendors
Composting display
Arts and crafts projects
Interactive exhibits with local environmental organizations
Book swap
Food demo with a local chef
Silent auction
And that's not all... The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection will kick off the CT Food Waste Prevention Week with a pronouncement and trivia game. The First Selectman and town officials will issue an Earth Day Proclamation, and the Greenwich Sustainability Committee will announce the recipients of its Sustainability Awards. A Fashion Show of upcycled couture designed and created by a group of talented OR nurses will top off the festivities!
