Safely and responsibly dispose of household hazardous waste, such as paint, furniture polish, bug spray, diesel fuel and much more, during the Town of Greenwich’s annual collection day.

Household Hazardous Waste Day is free for Town of Greenwich residents, but no commercial loads are accepted. Greenwich residents are also welcome to attend the Household Hazardous Waste Day events in the participating towns listed here.

As a safety precaution, it is recommended that residents wear rubber gloves, pack materials carefully in boxes, read warning labels, identify unlabeled containers, use containers no larger than 5 gallons each, pack like materials carefully in boxes lined with newspaper or kitty litter, and place containers on a flat surface in the vehicle when transporting.
